Raymond Chenon

Android developer

His talk "Android fuckup and postmortem" is about not so obvious epic fails and what you can learn from them such as an App release that goes wrong , its backup plan and how we release smoothly. In this talk, we will discuss when a technical refactoring is essential and how to plan it ahead.

Raymond is currently a software engineer at Zalando. He joined the company before the IPO, when the Android app was started by two backend developers. Prior to Zalando, he worked for Siemens Mobility writing "real" rails applications in Paris for project reaching Sao Paulo, Budapest and Barcelona. When the Apple app store arrived, he realized the potential of mobile apps.
